Our client was serving a LIFE sentence in federal prison after a conviction. We filed a motion under the Fair Sentencing Act to modify his sentence based on changes in the law since his prior conviction.
The United States District Court granted our motion and our client’s sentence was reduced from LIFE to time served. Our client was released from prison 10 days later.
