Drug Possession and Intent to Sell Crack Dismissed in Charlotte

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Friday, March 20, 2020

Our client was approached by police while he was parked outside of a club in Charlotte. Officers observed his passengers put something in the backseat of his SUV and moving things around. Despite the driver having no access to the area in question, when police searched his vehicle they discovered marijuana and crack cocaine in the backseat.

With a previously clean criminal record, our client was now exposed to considerable time behind bars and a drug conviction. After watching the body can footage and showing the prosecutor the police report that blatantly refers to the passengers putting things in the backseat, we arranged to have the charges dismissed.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
