Charges Dismissed for Misdemeanor Hit and Run

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Thursday, September 10, 2020

A panicked decision to not stop late at night after a minor property damage accident led to a misdemeanor hit and run charge against our client. She bumped another car on a highway exit ramp and kept going because she was scared to stop and get out of the car.

The other driver got her tag and a criminal summons warrant was issued. Once we explained her actions and that she was absolutely going to take financial responsibility, the charges were dropped.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
