Underage Drinking at Concert Dismissed

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Friday, January 17, 2020

Two underage and out-of-state college students were recently at a concert in Charlotte. They were approached by officers, who noticed them with alcohol and asked them to submit to a breathalyzer. This resulted in both of them being charged with possession of alcohol under 21. While this a common enough charge for young people, their situation was worsened by attending school in another state. As a result, we handled the entire situation on their behalf and resolved the matter with a complete dismissal without them ever appearing in court.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
