Probation, Dismissal & Expungement for Trafficking & Possession Charges

Our client was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She faced a minimum sentence of 70-93 months, along with a $500,000 fine.

During the arraignment, we told the prosecutor we were planning to enter a plea of “Not Guilty” and were choosing to take the matter to a jury trial. In response, the prosecutor offered a 90-96 Disposition to the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and dismissed the remaining charges. Our client was placed on 12 months of probation. Once that period of probation ends, the last possession charge will be dismissed. All charges will be expunged if she completes her probation.
