Possession of Firearm at Airport Charge Dismissed

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Monday, August 24, 2020

Rushing to the airport to catch a flight ended with our client not only missing the plane but being arrested for having a firearm in his carry on bag. Although our client has a concealed carry, which made having the gun in his soft-sided briefcase legal to carry to and from his office, no firearms are allowed at airports. Leaving it in his bag was an oversight, of course, and he was cooperative with the TSA. As a result, we were able to get the criminal charges dismissed and working to reduce his TSA fine.
