Multiple Credit Card Felonies Dismissed

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Our client, who had an extensive criminal record, was caught allegedly trying to use a fake or stolen credit card to make a $30 purchase at a sports bar. He was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, financial card forgery, possession of the forged financial card, and financial card fraud, all of which are felonies.

When arrested he was with a group that allegedly used fake and stolen cards for several purchases. Because of complications with the case and considering the small amount involved, we negotiated with the prosecutor to drop the charges.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
