Our client was initially charged with First-Degree Murder and faced a mandatory sentence of life without the possibility of parole. After extensive negotiations with the District Attorney’s Office, we secured a plea agreement to the lesser offense of accessory after the fact. As a result, the client avoided a life sentence and received a significantly reduced sentence of 58 to 82 months.
