Drug Diversion Case Resolved, No Action Taken Against Nurse

Recently, a client was reported to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for suspicion of drug diversion after numerous charting and medication pull discrepancies were found by his employer. After the Board’s investigation and submission of our response to the allegations, we were able to persuade the Board that no disciplinary action was necessary to be taken against the Client. As a result, the Client was able to continue working as a nurse and no public entry was made against the practitioner’s license.
