Discharging a Firearm Within City Limits Case Dismissed

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Monday, February 11, 2019

After work one day, a man with an upper-level management position dropped his personal firearm in his driveway after exiting his vehicle. The gun fell with some force, so he carried it inside to check for damage. This led to a round being accidentally fired, which went through the floor and into the apartment below him. The man was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits, which qualifies as a misdemeanor. Due to his position and need to preserve his firearm rights, our team aggressively negotiated on his behalf. This led to the entire case being dismissed, and our client was excused from further concern.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
