Concealed Handgun Charge Dismissed after a Traffic Stop

On behalf of Randall & Stump, PLLC in on Friday, October 11, 2019

When a man was pulled over for expired registration, the police discovered a handgun and charged him with having a concealed weapon. While the gun itself was 100% legal to own, he did not have the necessary license to carry it. This exposed him to a serious gun charge and possible time in custody. While he was originally representing himself, we, fortunately, took over and negotiated to have the charges dismissed based on the condition that he take the required concealed carry class.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
