College Student’s Drug Charges Dismissed

Our client was a college student that got tangled in some trouble regarding marijuana after being victims and witnesses to an armed robbery. When the police came to the client’s home to conduct interviews about the robbery, one of his roommates opened the door, and what was supposed to be their victim statements turned into several felony drug charges when officers detected the smell of marijuana.
The client was ultimately charged with maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. We acted fast to deal with the situation and were able to get all the charges dismissed after he agreed to take a drug class.
