Our client was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with the Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, Conspiracy to Commit that assault charge, and Felonious Restraint. If convicted, he could be sentenced to 206 months in prison.
Our client works as an armed security guard. While at work, two co-workers got into a disagreement, which resulted in one of them getting shot. Based on the available video evidence, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department brought charges against our client. We were on track for a jury trial, ready to protect our client, when the District Attorney dismissed all charges.
