Armed Career Criminal Sentence Reversed and Reduced

Our client was initially sentenced as an armed career criminal, which drastically increases the time he’d have to spend behind bars. With an extensive federal sentencing background, our team reviewed the pre-sentence report and argued that he should not be considered an armed criminal. We appeared on his behalf in federal district court and successfully demonstrated to the court that he was improperly sentenced. While, he was originally sentenced to 188 months, due to our intervention, we negotiated it to between 57 and 71 months, sparing him from a significant prison term.
